While a publication being labelled as ‘DIY’ used to simply indicate the way it had been made and distributed, nowadays the fact of a book or zine being ‘DIY’ has become a goal in and of itself (…) It first hit me when I realised how easy it was to make a ‘cool zine’ that sold good (…) In the same period I used this idea in my paintings (…) I used to be the most popular painter at school (…) Puff Puff Pass is dedicated to the old farts who miss the cool imagery in my work. Puff Puff Pass will be available for sale at the artist’s book fair, be-part Waregem, sunday May 5th. Lay out by Olivier Smets.
